3. Young Site Manager of the Year:
Awarded to a young site manager who has excelled in managing construction projects, showcasing exemplary management skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership.
4. Young Architectural Professional of the Year:
Celebrating a young architect or architectural professional who has made significant contributions to the field with innovative designs, creative solutions, and impactful projects.
5. Young Engineer of the Year:
Recognising a young engineer who has shown exceptional technical expertise, innovation, and dedication in their engineering role within the construction industry.
6. Young Project Manager of the Year:
Awarded to a young project manager who has demonstrated outstanding project management skills, successfully overseeing projects from conception to completion with excellent results.
7. Young Construction Professional of the Year:
Honouring a young professional in any construction-related role who has shown remarkable talent, dedication, and contribution to the industry.
8. Rising Star of the Year:
Celebrating an individual who is relatively new to the construction industry but has already made a significant impact and shown great promise for future success.
9. Young Leader in Social Value and Sustainability:
Who will be named BTF’s Young Leader in Social Value and Sustainability for 2025? Recognising the sustainability strategists who are driving the climate and corporate sustainability agenda forward, this special award is for the in-house sustainability leaders, managers and practitioners who are innovating, inspiring and initiating positive change, and those who are always willing to go the extra mile to transform business, for good.
10. Young Planner of the Year
Honouring a young planning professional who has made a significant impact in shaping the future of the built environment through innovative and effective planning practices.
11. Young Commercial Manager of the Year
Recognising a young commercial manager for their business acumen, strategic vision, and ability to drive profitability and efficiency within construction projects.
12. Young Surveyor of the Year
Recognising a young surveyor who has demonstrated outstanding skill, accuracy, and professionalism in their work, contributing to the success of construction projects.
13. Best HE Provider Supporting Careers in Construction:
Recognising a Higher Education provider that has demonstrated excellence in equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to thrive in the construction industry.
14. Best FE Provider Supporting Careers in Construction:
Awarding a Further Education provider that has shown excellence in preparing young people for careers in construction through impactful education and training programs.
15. Employer of the Year – SME (Under 250 Employees)
Celebrating small and medium-sized enterprises that excel in nurturing young talent and creating impactful opportunities for career development. Open to organisations with fewer than 250 employees and a turnover of less than £50 million. Organisation sizes will be validated by the BTF team via Companies House based on the last full financial year of accounts.
16. Employer of the Year – Large (250+ Employees)
Honouring large organisations that excel in supporting young talent through training, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
17. Best Construction Industry Training Provider
Celebrating organisations that deliver exceptional training and skills development programs, helping to prepare the next generation of construction professionals.
